Sadik Yamin
Full-Stack & Embedded Engineer
I build across the stack, from React and TypeScript apps to C++ firmware on ESP32 boards and the hardware it runs. Currently at Putt Quest, building LED lighting, moving obstacles, and a self-hosted Kubernetes cluster. Founder of TickerStats (AI equity research SaaS).

Featured Work
Selected projects I've designed and built end-to-end.

LED Orchestra
Offline distributed LED show controller that synchronizes ESP32-C6 strip segments over a Matter-over-Thread mesh.

Fish-Jaw Obstacle
Motorized mini-golf obstacle: a fish whose jaw chomps on a 12 V linear actuator, driven by ESP32-C6 firmware with a Wi-Fi control page and OTA updates.

Putt Quest Kubernetes Cluster
Production, self-hosted Kubernetes on three Raspberry Pi 5s, with NVMe storage, Ansible provisioning, and ArgoCD GitOps for Putt Quest's website and employee portal.

BizAQ
AI-assisted acquisition pipeline for finding a small business to buy: from 373 listings across six states down to one-page briefs on the few worth a visit.

Car Hunt
Used-car research workflow with Chrome DevTools capture, playbook-based AI triage, and a React dashboard for explainable scores, price history, and comparisons.

TickerStats
AI-powered equity research SaaS that compares up to 100 tickers, generates pitch decks, runs DCF valuation, and exports to PPTX/PDF/XLSX.

GapWalk
Schedule-aware micro-walking app that finds free gaps and nudges users to take short walks, with local-first tracking and optional calendar sync.
What I Do
Full-Stack Development
End-to-end application development with React, Next.js, Nest.js, and Python — from database design to pixel-perfect interfaces.
Embedded Systems & Hardware
C++ firmware for ESP32 boards with ESP-IDF, ESPHome, and PlatformIO, plus the physical side: mechanism design, wiring, soldering, power, 3D printing, and installation.
Self-Hosted Infrastructure
Building and running on-site Kubernetes (k3s) on Raspberry Pi hardware, provisioned with Ansible and deployed through ArgoCD GitOps.
